Say "sorry" so that you are heard

Writer: Alice SheldonAlice Sheldon

Would you like one tip for saying 'sorry' so that it really lands with the other person?

I totally messed up a diary arrangement recently. When I said 'sorry', my lovely friend left a voicenote: 'How could I be annoyed when your message was so perfect?'

To say sorry well, we need to empathise with the impact we've had, rather than go into a guilt trip about our own behaviour. This short video shows you how.
