Which training fits for you?

There are three training options - an introductory workshop, a discovery day, and the full Needs Understanding training. For any of them, we will have a planning call to tailor them to fit what you need.

Intro workshop

An inspiring 90 minute workshop to introduce Needs Understanding.

You will leave with three skills for difficult conversations at  home and at work, and a new lens for making sense of yourself and your colleagues.

Discovery day

A fun, learning-packed day covering half of the key skills of Needs Understanding.

By the end of it, you will understand what makes you and those around you tick. You will have new tools for communicating more effectively, and for resolving situations where people have different ideas.

Full training

The complete Needs Understanding training together with masterclass sessions to apply it.

Over an initial 2 days, learn all of the Needs Understanding skills that you need in order to communicate with empathy and power, understand what is going on when you face challenges, and choose courses of action that get you where you want to go.

Then take 2 hours a month to work with Alice to integrate Needs Understanding into whatever is happening for you and your team, so that you can find ways forward with clarity and effectiveness.

Your individual fingerprint needs are a powerful tool for understanding your reactions, especially in the situations that you find the most difficult to manage at home or at work We will cover: Your unique blueprint of 'fingerprint needs' - what it is and where it comes from • Recognising when you get triggered, and why you sometimes feel furious, ashamed or as if you are 5 years old again • Getting yourself back to a more rational state • Responding and not reacting, so that you get the outcome that you want Length: 1.5 hours, with 1 hour and 2 hour alternative versions available Number of participants: Any Delivery mode: Online or in person Previous experience required: No

Why Needs Understanding training?

We often feel unsure how to deal with the difficult conversations and challenging interactions that we face every day at at work. Whether it's our boss who is too busy to listen, our colleague who isn't a team player or the client to whom we need to give a hard-to-hear message, how can we communicate effectively and navigate to a solution that works?

Needs Understanding offers a simple but revolutionary approach that relies on understanding human behaviour in terms of needs like belonging, knowing that we matter, or creativity.
 
Needs Understanding training provides a way to make sense of ourselves and others so that we can:

This is a short workshop which is excellent if you want to introduce your team to Needs Understanding ideas. A fun, inspiring and practical session, you can use it to test the appetite for full training, or to see how Needs Understanding could fit with your organisation.

Needs Understanding training offers the inspiration that comes from fresh and exciting ideas, together with the practical tools to put them into action to create change. Training is fun, interactive, and a safe space for participants to learn. People leave with skills for communication, relationship and problem-solving that they can use at home and at work.
